Treat your dog to becoming part of our family pack and enjoying a fun vacation of their own while you are enjoying yours! The dogs in my care are integrated as part of our family and join in all of activities and adventures. My place is the best fit for dogs that are social butterflies - that love people, kids, other dogs and thrive being involved in our day-to-day. We have many years of experience hosting dogs of a breeds and temperament. We can cater to both the needs of senior lapdogs to busy little energetic puppies! We also have hosted shyer dogs and those that need a little bit of extra TLC to help alleviate separation anxiety. If your dog has separation anxiety and you worry about their transition into a new environment, please let me know and we can talk in more detail how we can make sure Fido feels right at home. How do you decide if I am a good fit for you and your dog? Good question! Before we book any stay, we connect for a chat that lets us get to know each other. I share more about myself and my home, answer questions and we work out if our family and home sound like a fun place for your dog. Generally, dogs that do well here are highly social dogs that love people, kids and being involved in everything that we do. From there, assuming all goes well, we arrange a trial stay so we can see first hand how your dog transitions into our home and it also gives me the opportunity to get to know your dog before their longer stay. We also complete the paperwork that includes the Pet Service Agreement, Pet Questionnaire and Vet Records. I always provide reports and updates including photos so you have peace of mind on how your dog is doing with us and what they are up to. If the trial stay goes well, we are all set for the long term and you can book stays with me at any time, subject to availability. For any clients that I take on, please understand that I do not dog sit as a "once-off" occasion. What I enjoy most about what I do is developing long-term relationships with my dogs and working with families to help them raise and care for their furry family member. Thus, I am only offering my dog daycare or boarding services for those families that need ongoing doggy care at least several times through the year.
